Story
The name of the piece "Swimming with the Fishes" is basically a play on words. She's not dead or in danger but swimming peacefully alongside the sharks and ocean life. I think a lot of people have a certain fear around the sea and its creatures. So I wanted to do a piece showing the calmness and beauty of the ocean and it's creatures. Through this piece I wanted to show how fear of nature is all in perspective. We can either be scared of it or calmly embrace both the beauty and the possibility of danger. I think the same goes for the struggles we encounter in life. We can either run away from them and live in constant fear or we can embrace them as a testament to our own power.
