From a young age I've always had a passion for art and nature. I'm fascinated by the diversity and striking colors of our natural world. Through art I fuse together social spaces and the natural world by bringing the magical and striking scenes found in nature into people's homes. About the Artist

"Sky grew up in the countryside for most of her life though family happenings led to constant relocation. Her constantly changing environment sparked her passion for natural diversity in all forms. With some of her childhood spent in semi-desert hill country and another part in lush green forest and rolling plain regions, she finds nostalgia and inspiration in nearly all types of natural environments and their wildlife. Despite a childhood spent moving from one place to another she has always been drawn back to the gulf coast as that's where most of her family is located. Family get-togethers at the beach, relaxing windy walks along the shore, and several years spent living next to the water sparked the inspiration behind some of her more coastal themed works."

Art was like a natural calling for me . . . .

Since I first picked up a pencil, art has been my obsession. I would spend hours drawing animals and nature scenes. Indoors or outdoors my creative drive would always push me to make something, whether it was with pencil and paper or clay from the edge of a pond or puddle.

Besides art, wildlife has been my next biggest passion . . . .

Living on a farm and in various countrysides for most of my childhood, I've always been immersed in nature. Even after moving to the city, me and my family were constantly caring for strays and rearing abandoned wildlife.

Plans for future reforestation projects and wildlife sanctuary . . . .

I'm passionate about not only using my art to bring a touch of nature into people's homes and ignite a strong connection with nature, but also to help preserve our natural spaces and amazing wildlife. Through proceeds from my art I'm working towards reforesting degraded soils and establishing a wildlife sanctuary in the near future.
